When Pharrell Williams and G-Dragon get together, you know it’s going to be something special. In a recent chat, these two global icons shared a conversation that was as much about mutual admiration and respect for each other as it was about creativity and reinvention.

He talked about how this moment in G-Dragon’s life is all about transformation—about letting go of the old and embracing the new. “The dragon gets to see new skin. The dragon gets to see and feel new wings, and the dragon gets to fly again,” Pharrell said, inspired by the idea of G-Dragon rising to even greater heights in this next chapter.

G-Dragon also shared some wise words on this moment stating, “Whatever situation is going on in your life, just don't give up and keep going ahead. There are endless challenges and mine have taught me a lot.”

On what’s coming next, G-Dragon continues, “Everything's changed right now around me...it's a new chapter for me. So I'm kind of excited, but at the same time, kind of nervous, but it feels good though.”
