Product Note

Prune Nourry’s art explores health, humanity, injustice, femininity, society, and demographic imbalance. She’s created a prolific body of work across many mediums, but most notably sculpture. Prune’s own battle with breast cancer has been a focus of a number of her pieces including a nonfiction film she made called Serendipity as well as a 13-foot-tall sculpture entitled The Amazon. The Paris-born artist now resides and works in New York City. Her submission to Just Phriends is this provocative glass and bronze sculpture entitled Catharsis; Feeding Eye #6.
