This pullover features sacai’s signature hybrid knit construction rendered in KAWS’s vibrant, intersecting shapes and colors. With bold patches of red, yellow, purple, and navy, the sweater embodies both sacai’s experimental approach to silhouette and KAWS’s instantly recognizable visual language.

Originally introduced as part of the SACAI X KAWS Fall/Winter 2021 collection, the collaboration fused the Japanese label’s avant-garde tailoring with KAWS’s abstract “URGE” series of paintings. The collection was celebrated as a meeting point of contemporary art and fashion, pushing knitwear into the realm of wearable sculpture while capturing a cultural moment where street art fully entered luxury fashion.

From the collection of Mira Mikati, whose personal archive is a testament to her eye for playful, art-driven collaborations. Mira’s ownership adds a layer of provenance, as her curatorial selections often anticipate and shape the way collectors approach art-fashion crossovers.

KAWS is a New York–based artist whose work spans graffiti, painting, sculpture, and collectible design. Recognized for his cartoon-inspired figures and trademark “XX” motif, he bridges the worlds of fine art, street culture, and commerce.
