Product Note
In the all-star lineup of brand mascots, Mr. Peanut is hitting cleanup. The cane-clutching, monocle-rocking, top hat-topped legume has been repping the Planters brand since 1916. This white, lapeled jacket was manufactured by A. Rifkin Co. and is chain stitch embroidered with the Planters script and Mr. Peanut mascot. It was likely worn in the field by a company salesman in the 1960s. Legend has it, that the sweet aroma of roasted peanuts still resides in the cotton fabric.
