Named after Japanese skater and designer Takashi Hosokawa, the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB “Takashi” from 2002 is among the earliest and most elegant entries in the SB catalog. The shoe features colors selected by Takashi, and has black leather uppers with metallic gold swooshes, complemented by white midsoles and black outsoles.
The model exemplifies the SB line’s blend of luxury and functionality, drawing inspiration from both street and skate aesthetics. Their official colorway is Black and Metallic Gold.
Nike Dunks were originally introduced in 1985 as basketball shoes before evolving into lifestyle icons. By 2002, Nike had adapted the Dunk for skateboarding, cementing its place in street culture. Pharrell Williams himself has a deep history with the model—collaborating with Nike in 2004 to create a limited Artist Series Dunk, released in only 1,050 pairs worldwide.
This lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Ownership verifying that the shoes are from Pharrell Williams’ private collection.
