NOTES:
Born in Tokyo in 1978, Haroshi is a self-taught Japanese artist and skateboarder who creates sculptures from recycled skateboard decks. His works embody the DIY ethos and are known for their vibrant, layered aesthetics. Paying homage to the iconic 1980s Powell Peralta graphic "Ripper," this work was reimagined as one of Haroshi’s signature pieces, "GUZO," using reclaimed skateboard decks as its core material.
