Zvezdochka 'White & Pro Orange' Promo Sample

Originally released in 2004, and reissued in limited numbers by NikeLab, the Zvezdochka was a groundbreaking and futuristic modular sneaker designed by Australian industrial designer Marc Newson. Named after a Russian cosmonaut dog, the design drew inspiration from space travel and innovation. The silhouette features a perforated, exoskeletal shell over an inner bootie—engineered for versatility, breathability, and visual impact. Mark Parker, the former CEO of Nike, said the shoes were an important step in Nike's manufacturing revolution.
