Nike's short-lived snowboarding line launched in 2008 before quietly shuttering in 2014. But it managed to create some great output along the way, like the double-tongued Zoom Force 1 snowboarding boots made in collaboration with Danny Kass. Released in 2010 for the Vancouver Winter Olympics, the metallic boots take inspiration from outer space, reimagining Kass as a high-flying astronaut, and also tapping into one of Pharrell's longtime interests—space travel. Interchangeable Velcro patches on the tongue feature the American and Canadian flags. The fully functional snowboard boots feature notable design callbacks to the Nike Air Force 1 on the sole, toe box, and upper.
