Re-edition Madonna Signed 'SEX' Book

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Madonna's iconic SEX book, Madonna and Yves Saint Laurent under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello presented an exhibition during Miami Art Basel in 2022. The anniversary edition of the book was exclusively available to order at the exhibition and online for a limited time, with only 800 copies produced, each individually numbered on the back. This copy is signed by Madonna on the exterior slipcover in blue marker, adding a rare and personal connection to Madonna herself to this landmark publication.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential and provocative photo books ever released, SEX, authored by Madonna with photographs and essays by Steven Meisel features a series of bold photo essays, each exploring a different sexual theme.

Created at the height of Madonna's global success, the project brought together and impressive roster of her friends and contemporaries. Collaborating closely with renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel, Madonna was joined in the sessions by Isabella Rossellini, Udo Kier, Vanilla Ice, Big Daddy Kane, Naomi Campbell, and male model and artist Tony Ward among others.

The original release of SEX arrived at a pivotal moment in Madonna's career, shortly after the 1990 debut of The Immaculate Collection, coinciding with the launch of her Maverick Production Company and following the worldwide success of the Blond Ambition Tour.
