Reference 116528 is the all-out expression of the modern six-digit Daytona, with an 18k yellow gold case, bezel, and Oyster bracelet.

Introduced in 2000 alongside the steel and white gold models, the 116528 shares their case architecture and Rolex’s in-house caliber 4130 movement, but stands apart in weight, presence, and precious-metal construction.

While Rolex produced the 116528 in a range of dial configurations and also offered strap-fitted versions, the full-gold Oyster bracelet gives this example its defining character with no material break.

Solid yellow gold runs from the case and bezel straight through to the bracelet, paired with a crisp white dial, matching brushed gold subdial registers, and the signature red "Daytona" script. For collectors, the uninterrupted gold construction is central to the appeal, placing the 116528 as one of the most materially significant examples of the Daytona era.
