Yet it was under his eponymous brand — founded in 1969 — that Genta's most creative and unrestrained designs took shape. Among them, the Octagonal collection of 1991 is likely the most renowned. With a powerful and distinct 8-sided case, Genta would go on to produce a range of watches with various complications, even grand comps, as well as simpler models featuring cartoon characters on the dial. The Octagonal case stands as a striking example of Genta’s inventive spirit, combining classical aesthetics with forward-thinking and innovative shapes.
