This platinum and diamond mesh bracelet is one of the most exceptional pieces in the sale — a defining commission from the moment Pharrell began moving beyond the exuberant, oversized chains of the late 1990s and early 2000s toward the more architectural, refined, and deeply intentional jewelry that would come to characterize his mature aesthetic. It marks the beginning of a new era in his collecting: one rooted in purity of form, technical mastery, and the quiet authority of truly exceptional stones.

Crafted in platinum and set with an extraordinary 108.50 carats of GIA-certified cushion-cut diamonds (92 stones, ranging from 0.62 to 1.12 carats, E–I color, IF–SI1 clarity), the bracelet is a feat of engineering and artistry. Jacob painstakingly sourced and hand-matched each diamond to create a perfectly harmonious suite — a task of extraordinary difficulty given the scale and uniformity required. The stones are set into a flexible platinum mesh, forming a luminous, fluid surface that drapes elegantly across the wrist.

Jacob recalls its creation vividly: “When you touched it, and you put it on, you realized how important it was. It’s this amazing piece of jewelry. Every stone is identical. And the way it sits on the wrist — and Pharrell would come and check and feel it and say, yes, you did it again. It’s perfect.”

Or as Pharrell said: “That bracelet broke a lot of hearts.”

Weighing 103.4 grams, the bracelet carries both presence and grace — a sculptural, liquid-like field of diamonds held in tension by the strength of platinum. It epitomizes the qualities that define Pharrell’s most important commissions: intention and an uncompromising standard of excellence.

One of the first jewels created during Pharrell’s transition into true high-jewelry connoisseurship, this bracelet remains a landmark piece — monumental in scale, exquisite in refinement, and among the most sophisticated of pieces Jacob and Pharrell created.
