Originally executed as the middle panel of LOST TIME; ALONE AGAIN; AND FAR FAR DOWN — the three-part screenprint sequence in which KAWS uses his Companion and Chum figures to chart a narrative of isolation, melancholy, and reflection — and now offered individually. The central panel of the three, ALONE AGAIN sits at the emotional fulcrum of the sequence: figures isolated within KAWS's signature flattened color fields, the title and composition working together to deliver the central beat of the triptych's argument.
