Diaspora Deco Chair

Diaspora Deco Chair merges architectural structure with expressive materiality, combining lacquered geometric forms with soft lambskin upholstery. The design references the streamlined elegance of Art Deco while reinterpreting its language through Cedric Mitchell’s contemporary Modern Funk aesthetic.

Bold proportions and sculptural framing create a chair that feels both grounded and dynamic, while the contrast between glossy lacquer and plush lambskin introduces a tactile richness that enhances the seating experience.

Balancing historical reference with contemporary experimentation, the Diaspora Deco Chair transforms seating into a collectible design object that sits comfortably between furniture and sculpture.
