Kid Trunks screaming — the two-word summary of basically every sequence he appears in across the Buu arc. The character arrives late in Dragon Ball Z as the son of the series’ most stubborn antagonist-turned-ally Vegeta and the brilliant engineer Bulma. Kid Trunks almost immediately proceeds to outrank most of the adult cast in raw power upon being introduced into the show. This production cel freezes him mid-shout against the camera: cocky grin, bright blue eyes blazing, lavender hair cowlicked up, dressed in the dark green gi with the orange sash that defines his look across the back half of the series. The uniform is what he wears into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber alongside Goten and the one he keeps when the pair fuse into Gotenks.
