AKIRA Tetsuo White T-shirt

Katsuhiro Otomo's AKIRA (1988) reshaped the global understanding of what anime could be, and Fashion Victim Ltd. — the London-based streetwear label — produced one of the earliest and most heavily-collected licensed apparel programs around the film through the late 1980s and early 1990s. This white cotton tee carries the program's defining Tetsuo graphic: Tetsuo Shima mid-mutation on the front panel, his cybernetic arm exploding out from beneath his signature red cape with cables and mechanical fragments spilling from what was once his shoulder, and "AKIRA" set in bold Optima-style black block letters anchoring the composition underneath. The back panel carries the film's Japanese title in red katakana calligraphy — アキラ — printed across the shoulder blades.
