This Keepall Bandoulière 55 is the headline carry piece from Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2023 — the collection Colm Dillane designed as the house’s standalone guest in the interim window following Virgil Abloh’s November 2021 death and before Pharrell Williams’s appointment as Men’s Creative Director a month later. Shown at Paris Fashion Week on January 19, 2023, the collection translated Dillane’s Brooklyn-based KidSuper vocabulary into the full Louis Vuitton Men’s architecture — the first time the house had handed its complete Men’s platform to a guest designer rather than filling it with in-house teams. The bag translates Dillane’s signature face-portrait motif directly into the Keepall silhouette: Monogram canvas panels are cut and re-assembled across the body in overlapping segments that resolve into the shape of a face, with a black leather eye appliquéd at the center of the composition and the profile running continuously through the side panels. Standard Maison hardware throughout — Vachetta leather trim, cowhide handles, removable shoulder strap, polished gold hardware, lock and keys.
Accompanied by the shoulder strap, lock-and-key accessory, luggage tag, and original dustbag.
