Sorayama Pouchette

From Kim Jones’ futuristic Pre-Fall 2019 menswear collection for Dior, this limited-edition pouch fuses house heritage with the sci-fi surrealism of Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama. Set against Dior’s classic Oblique monogram canvas, a chrome robotic dinosaur—one of Sorayama’s signature motifs—charges through blooming cherry blossoms in a collision of technology and tradition. The juxtaposition captures the spirit of the collection: romantic futurism rendered through couture-level craftsmanship.

Originally produced in limited numbers, select versions of this pouch were used as VIP show invitations for the Tokyo runway presentation, making this piece as much collectible ephemera as functional accessory.
