White Fabric Flower

A handmade fabric flower from M&S Schmalberg, the Manhattan Garment District atelier that has been hand-cutting and shaping silk flowers since 1916 — one of the last artisanal flower makers still operating in New York, and the longtime supplier behind generations of Broadway costumes, couture-house orders, and fashion-week boutonnières. The flower is built from layered cream-white fabric petals, ruffled and shaped by hand into a full carnation form, and mounted on a long silver-tone stick pin.
