Sambas Core Black

This is the Pharrell Williams X Adidas Samba “Core Black”, part of Pharrell’s Human Race reinterpretation of the iconic Samba silhouette. First released in 2023, the design pays homage to the shoe’s football heritage while elevating it with premium craftsmanship and minimalist execution.

Constructed from black ECCO leather, the sneaker features a fully tonal look, from upper to sole to laces, emphasizing material quality over branding. Subtle Human Race debossing replaces the traditional Samba gold stamp, and the tongue has been shortened and reshaped for a cleaner profile, reflecting Pharrell’s design language of cultural refinement and understated luxury.

From the collection of Sarah Andelman, whose long-standing creative friendship with Pharrell has spanned countless colette projects and collaborations, this pair embodies their shared ethos of cultural crossover, quality, and innovation.
