Tom Sachs

Featured Artist

Tom Sachs is an internationally acclaimed artist known for four decades of bricolage sculptures that merge obsessive research with hand-built worlds. From Nutsy’s to the Space Program series, his work transforms materials like foam core, plywood, and cardboard into resonant works of contemporary art. Sachs challenges hierarchies of value, treating every object with equal reverence. His work has been shown globally and is held in major collections including MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art, the Centre Pompidou, and the Guggenheim.

This sale benefits scholarships at Anderson Ranch Arts Center where the prints were made in collaboration with Elizabeth Ferrill, the Artistic Director of Painting, Drawing and Printmaking and her husband, the master printmaker Brian Shure.
