A sculptural backpack designed by Marc Newson from Louis Vuitton's 2014 Celebrating Monogram: The Icon and the Iconoclasts series — the project in which the Maison commissioned six creative figures (Christian Louboutin, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Karl Lagerfeld, Rei Kawakubo, and Marc Newson) to each reinterpret the Monogram canvas in a single freeform piece. The construction runs Newson's signature biomorphic silhouette through two materials in deliberate tension: soft shearling across the body for warmth and volume, and Monogram canvas wrapped around the base as a structural, durable element — the canvas working, in Newson's own words, "like a tyre on a car, or a sole on a shoe," a reference to the pattern's original 1896 purpose as a weatherproof, hard-wearing textile.

An internal structure allows the backpack to stand upright on its own and the interior carries space pockets for organization. One of the most quietly collected pieces from the Iconoclasts run, and arguably the only backpack in the Maison's Monogram archive built around a designer's own daily-use complaints.
