Originally executed as the opening panel of LOST TIME; ALONE AGAIN; AND FAR FAR DOWN — a three-part screenprint sequence in which KAWS deploys his long-running Companion and Chum figures to trace a narrative of temporal disorientation and emotional descent — and now offered individually. The first of three, the title sets the tone for the triptych: a study in suspension, the figures rendered at full scale in the bold flat color and graphic layering KAWS has used to translate his monumental sculptural vocabulary onto paper.
