To celebrate the 2022 FIFA World Cup and to promote their role as “official timekeeper” Hublot Watches launched the Hublot Loves Football campaign with Lebanese fashion designer Mira Mikati. Mikati created 15 one-of-a-kind soccer balls and a limited edition strap for the Hublot Big Bang e World Cup watch. All 15 balls and the watch are included in this lot. Mira’s connection to Pharrell can be traced through Sarah Anldelman and collette whom she’d collaborated with in the past. She was drawn to Pharrell’s style but also was serendipitously inspired by Pharrell’s YELLOW charity, as yellow is her favorite color. Yellow plays a primary role in Mira’s work as it symbolizes sunshine, happiness, and all the energy she hopes to put out into the world. A portion of the proceeds generated from the sale of this lot will be donated to YELLOW.
