Two things to understand about these 5 Naruto Shippuden sheets of Sasuke Uchiha. First: Naruto Shippuden was produced digitally from the start, which means no painted cels exist for any frame of the entire series — original pencil drawings are literally the only physical production artwork Studio Pierrot ever generated for the show. Second: the printed Studio Pierrot (株式会社ぴえろ) sheets with blank episode and cut fields are the actual production stationery the studio used across the Shippuden run, which makes the set a specific document of how the industry’s animation workflow had restructured by the late 2000s. This five-sheet set carries a full pipeline cross-section: Sheet A1 is a rough genga (key drawing) in orange pencil, a menacing teenage Sasuke close-up; two yellow sheets (A1 and A2) are the animation director’s corrections of Sasuke’s face, the revision pass that fixes a key animator’s work; and sheets B1 and B(5/5') are hatch-mark effect layers. The teenage design places the sequence inside the Shippuden window.
