The Saiyan Saga closes not with a battle but with a hospital room. Vegeta has retreated into deep space, Earth has survived its first full-scale invasion in Dragon Ball Z history, and the surviving Z Fighters are left with the aftermath: Goku bandaged head-to-toe in traction with a thermometer in his mouth, Chi-Chi hovering at the bedside, Krillin wrapped in his own bandages, Master Roshi grinning behind his sunglasses, Yajirobe cheering with both fists raised, Korin perched on his cane in his signature cat-form, and Ox-King’s enormous horned silhouette on his own separate acetate layer at the right of the frame. This multi-character cel setup is from Episode 37, “Plans for Departure” (Fuji TV, February 21, 1990) — the quiet reset episode that closes the arc and launches the Namek voyage. Setups like this one were materially rare in production even at the time: each additional figure meant another full acetate, another pass of ink-and-paint, another layer of registration risk through the camera stand.
