Takehiko Inoue's Slam Dunk ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from October 1990 through June 1996 and remains the most influential sports manga ever published in Japan, singly credited for triggering the basketball boom that made Japanese high-school basketball registration numbers triple across the decade. The 2022 animated feature The First Slam Dunk reset the franchise's cultural footprint for a new generation. This Anvil-blank white cotton tee carries a side-anchored line-drawing composition of the Shohoku High School starting lineup — Takenori Akagi (#4), Hisashi Mitsui (#14), Ryota Miyagi (#7), and Hanamichi Sakuragi (#10) in the team's road uniforms — rendered entirely in Inoue's loose ink-line style with no color fill. The restraint of the graphic reads directly to Inoue's post-2010 editorial vocabulary and places the piece inside the newer wave of Slam Dunk licensed apparel.
