A striking fusion of haute couture and futuristic industrial design, this limited-edition Dior x Hajime Sorayama Metal Saddle Bag was introduced for Dior Men’s Pre-Fall 2019 under the creative direction of Kim Jones. Entirely crafted from matte silver-toned metal, the bag transforms the iconic Saddle silhouette into a sculptural, sci-fi inspired object, accented with precise gold-toned details. Sorayama’s signature machine aesthetics is further expressed through the ingenious replacement of the traditional Saddle tassels with dangling headphone jacks.

The reverse is discreetly engraved “Fall 2019”, and the bag is fitted with a robust technical strap featuring an airplane-inspired buckle that reinforces its engineered, mechanical feel. Produced in extremely limited quantities, this example is individually numbered 29, making it an exceptionally rare collector’s piece at the intersection of fashion, art and avant-garde design.
