VIA Treasure Trunk

The VIA Treasure Trunk anchors Louis Vuitton's inaugural VIA program drop — the invitation-only Web3-linked luxury tier that Pharrell Williams launched in June 2023 shortly after taking on Men's Creative Director at the maison. The trunk is executed in the program's signature white Monogram treatment with tonal grey-on-white LV symbols across the coated canvas, framed by riveted silver-tone trim, chromed corners, and the maison's classic riveted hardware program throughout. Louis Vuitton's Asnières workshop built the trunk in the same tradition as the house's historical output, finishing it with a hinged lid, an engraved LV lock plate, and a handled top.

The Treasure Trunk functions as the physical anchor of the VIA program: each buyer of a Treasure Trunk received the physical piece alongside a series of additional VIA benefits and access rights. The VIA program runs on soulbound-token (SBT) architecture — a non-transferable digital certificate tied to each holder that grants ongoing access to further VIA drops, events, and physical claims throughout the year. This particular Treasure Trunk comes with all of the additional VIA tokens distributed to holders during the program's run, though not the original SBT itself, which by design cannot be transferred and remains with the founding holder's wallet. The additional tokens document the trunk's provenance within the VIA collector network and constitute the most complete set of authentication material a Treasure Trunk can carry outside of the SBT itself.
