A subversive elevation of an icon, the Mattias Gollin Pearl Embellished Checkerboard Vans Classic Slip-On reframes one of skate culture’s most recognizable silhouettes through the lens of ornament and craft. Retaining the DNA of the original slip-on, the piece remains grounded in its skate heritage, even as it pushes into new territory. The familiar grey-and-white grid becomes a canvas for embellishment with each square interrupted by hand-applied pearl detailing that shifts the shoe from utilitarian staple to sculptural object.

Developed in collaboration with designer Mattias Gollin, each pair undergoes an intensive hand-finishing process, with embellishment applied individually and introduces subtle variation to underscore its artisanal nature.
