LORRAINE SCHWARTZ
2B Happy Bracelet in 18-Karat Rose Gold and Diamonds

USD$25,000.00

Playful yet precious, this unreleased “2B Happy” early prototype bracelet by Lorraine Schwartz transforms a universal symbol of joy into high jewelry. Featuring a series of mirror-polished rose gold smiley face medallions linked by pavé-set diamond connectors, the bracelet captures the designer’s signature blend of wit, craftsmanship, and glamour. This piece comes directly from Lorraine Schwartz’s personal archive and is a rare opportunity to own a one-of-one design that embodies joy, optimism, and originality.

During a business trip to Hong Kong, Lorraine received a 7 a.m. call from a prominent local collector with a wishlist of bespoke jewelry—one request being a unique mesh bracelet in yellow gold and diamonds. When an early version was delivered in the wrong size and broke as it was being tried on, a moment of tension gave way to reflection. She began sketching anew — channeling her belief that happiness isn’t handed to us, it’s something we choose.

The result: a luminous series of smiley face medallions in mirror-polished yellow gold, linked by pavé diamond connectors. This earliest prototype became a favorite of the designer, and later Beyoncé, who hosted the collection’s launch — her invitations were gem-studded paperweights declaring: “Beyoncé invites you to be happy.”

This early proto-type, never released publicly and held in Lorraine Schwartz’s personal archive, is the bracelet she’d take to a desert island — a reminder that gratitude, perspective, and self-made joy are the truest luxuries of all.
