The result is a hybrid figure that cloaks the clean, cartoon-like Companion in a darker, bone-like carapace. It bridges graffiti, punk aesthetics, and designer toy culture at its peak. Originally released in multiple colorways, the figures have become sought-after artifacts of the early 2000s art toy movement, reflecting a moment when subculture and collectible design collided with unprecedented force.

This example comes from the personal collection of fashion designer Mira Mikati, whose playful, color-saturated aesthetic has earned her an international following. She is known for her collaborations with artists such as KAWS and her deep engagement with contemporary culture.
