NOTES:
Baseball Life is Shohei Ochiai’s vibrant tribute to America’s favorite pastime. With his signature texture and color-blocked dimensionality, Shohei transforms baseballs, home plates, and stadium fields into whimsical totems of memory and motion. At the center, a Los Angeles Dodgers cap anchors the composition—symbolizing both Shohei’s love for the game and his deepening connection to American culture.

Playful, personal, and meticulously painted, Baseball Life captures the joy and geometry of sport through the eyes of an artist whose practice thrives on bold visual language.

Shohei Ochiai is a Japanese artist known for his vivid, textural interpretations of everyday objects. He graduated from the Product Design Department at Tama Art University, where he developed his signature visual language—marked by bold, expressive lines, sculptural depth, and dynamic, often unpredictable forms. Working primarily in painting and drawing, Shohei transforms mundane items into charged, larger-than-life portraits.
