A pair of Maison Margiela's square-toe leather loafers, cut to the heavy, blunt-toed silhouette that has become one of the house's most recognizable footwear shapes. Built in black calf leather with a slipper-flat construction, leather-bound edges, and the squared, sculptural toe Margiela has refined into a deliberate counterpoint to the pointed traditions of formal menswear. The shoes carry the house's familiar minimalist construction throughout — clean uppers, no visible exterior branding, the conceptual restraint that has marked Margiela footwear since Martin Margiela founded the label in 1988 and continued through John Galliano's tenure as creative director.
