This striking all-over print hoodie is part of the celebrated collaboration between Parisian label Études Studio and Los Angeles painter Henry Taylor. Taylor is widely recognized as one of the most significant American painters of his generation, known for his deeply human portraits that center friends, neighbors, and cultural figures in bold colors and loose, expressive brushwork.

For Études’ N°14 collection, Taylor’s work was translated onto garments as wearable canvases, merging Parisian tailoring with California sensibility. The “Colorado / California” hoodie features a relaxed silhouette with an all-over print of one of Taylor’s portraits, creating an artwork that is both intimate and monumental.

This example comes directly from the collection of Pedro Winter, founder of Ed Banger Records and a pivotal figure in French music culture, who managed Daft Punk and shaped the rise of Justice.
