In 2008, Justice and Parisian creative collective Surface to Air launched a tightly edited capsule, designed as wearable extensions of the duo’s iconic Cross aesthetic. Each design was produced in extremely limited numbers — reportedly no more than fifty per style — and sold through select international boutiques including Colette, Le Bon Marché, Barneys New York, and Isetan Tokyo.

The “Gaspard” jacket, named for Justice’s Gaspard Augé, is the most classic motorcycle-inspired silhouette of the capsule. Cut from supple black leather, it features a pointed collar, belted waist, and multiple zip and flap pockets. Its proportions nod to mid-century biker jackets, but with a narrow, elongated fit that recalls Hedi Slimane’s Dior Homme tailoring — a favorite reference point for Justice during their Cross era.

This example is offered directly from the collection of Pedro “Busy P” Winter, Ed Banger Records founder and the producer/manager who signed Justice and helped craft their visual and sonic world. As with the “Xavier” jacket, this provenance places the piece firmly within the Parisian electro scene that defined late-2000s music and fashion culture.

Net proceeds from the sales of Pedro's collection benefit Secours Populaire Français.
