Earphones in Pocket enlarges the familiar tangle of wired earphones into an intricate composition. Its pale looping cords cross a blue field, turning an everyday annoyance into a lively drawing of movement, line and memory.

Shohei Ochiai is a Japanese artist known for his vivid, textural interpretations of everyday objects. A graduate of Tama Art University’s Product Design Department, he uses bold lines, sculptural depth and expressive forms to transform familiar items into larger-than-life portraits.

The purchase of each Shohei Ochiai artwork will be accompanied by a son of a Pharaoh Graphic Exhibition Throw as well as the custom Michael Jordan/Ferrari Pin.
