Worn by the US Air Force, flashy fabrics were used to guide fighter jets, however, this jacket is very special, as it was quite unusual to have a scorpion patch on the chest and back.

To avoid groundcrew members being hit by approaching aircraft, the US Air Force issued these conspicuously patterned G1 jackets in the 1950s. Bright orange and black checks provided elevated visibility. While purely functional, these jackets were also very intriguing looking and have since become highly collectible. While rare and collectible already, this example, which NIGO is releasing back into the wild, is even rarer and more exclusive as it is embellished with unique squad patches on the chest and back.
