The Blancpain Léman Flyback Perpetual Calendar, reference 2585F-1130-71, represents one of the most accomplished models in Blancpain's celebrated Léman collection. Introduced in the mid-1990s, the line ranged from simple time-and-date watches to grand complications, with the 2585F uniting two of the most practical: a perpetual calendar and a flyback chronograph.

Despite its complexity, the dial remains remarkably legible. A subdial at 9 o'clock displays the day of the week, another at 12 o'clock indicates the month, while the register at 3 o'clock combines the 30-minute chronograph counter with the date and leap-year indicator. A moon-phase display anchors the dial at 6 o'clock. The flyback chronograph allows the timing sequence to be reset and restarted with a single push, eliminating the need for separate stop, reset, and start actions when timing consecutive events.
