These Black and Royal Blue Air Jordan 18s are rare Sample pairs, complete with Sample tags, Sample hangtags, and a sticker on the insoles identifying them as 2017 Salesman Samples. While the hangtag designates them as 2018 Go-To-Market Confirmation Samples, the inner labels also confirm 2017 production.
Originally released in 2003 during Michael Jordan’s tenure with the Washington Wizards, the Air Jordan 18 drew inspiration from high-end Italian design and luxury sports cars. According to Nike, the model incorporates sleek racing lines, elements of Formula 1 engineering, driving-shoe influences, and the refined stitching found in premium Italian dress shoes. Designed by Tate Kuerbis, the Air Jordan 18 holds special significance as the final sneaker Michael Jordan ever wore in an NBA game, making this unreleased Sample pair an especially meaningful artifact in the lineage of Jordan performance footwear.
Accompanied by the original Nike sample tag.
