Air Jordan IX OVO Sample Set

These OVO Air Jordan 9s are exceptionally rare. This offering includes both a white pair and a black pair, and both are true Samples that were never released to the public.

The white pair features high-gloss leather uppers with metallic gold accents on the tongue, insoles, and clear outsoles. The black pair features a matte leather upper, an opaque outsole, and metallic gold and black branding. Both pairs display “October’s Very Own” branding on the tongues. Nike’s collaboration with OVO spanned from 2015 to 2019, during which several OVO Air Jordan models were created; however, these Air Jordan 9s are among the rarest of all OVO releases and are virtually impossible to find. Both pairs are Look-See Samples and retain their original Sample Tags.

The Air Jordan 9 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and conceived as a tribute to Michael Jordan’s global influence, so international in concept that it was nearly named the Air Jordan International. The heel features Jordan’s number 23 alongside a globe encircling the Jumpman logo. When first released in 1994, the Air Jordan 9 was the lightest and most responsive Air Jordan ever produced.
