An original black-and-white photograph of Bob Dylan, titled Bob Dylan at the Castle, Los Angeles, CA captured by renowned photographer Lisa Law. The image was taken at her Los Feliz home, famously nicknamed “The Castle.” This four-story creative hub was a gathering place for Dylan, fellow musicians, and artists during the mid-1960s, a space where collaboration, music, and artistic experimentation flourished.

Law, celebrated for documenting the counterculture era, enjoyed rare and intimate access to Dylan during this period. He rented a room in her home, allowing her to capture him in a private, creative environment far removed from the public eye. As Law recalled, “This was taken in The Castle's solarium. Bob stayed with us, up in his room type-writing into the night.” The photograph captures Dylan’s iconic presence while conveying the vibrant artistic energy and social milieu of 1960s Los Angeles.
