Kortrijk Concert Poster

A poster for the Sex Pistols' date at the Hallen van Kortrijk, Belgium, on 29 January 1978 — one of a string of European shows booked to follow the band's American tour. None of them were ever performed. The Sex Pistols played their last show at Winterland Ballroom, San Francisco, on 14 January 1978; Johnny Rotten announced his departure four days later. The European leg — Kortrijk, Liège, Leuven, Nijmegen and beyond — collapsed with him before a single date was played.

This poster was printed before the collapse. The poster passes directly from a former Pigz roadie: provenance that places it inside the cancelled operation at the precise moment anticipation turned into abandonment.
