Sort It Out Tour Poster

A rare original poster for The Clash's appearance at Liverpool University on the Sort It Out Tour, the band's UK run in support of Give 'Em Enough Rope. The show was originally booked for 6 December 1978 and rescheduled to 1 December — making surviving posters for the corrected date unusually scarce. The Sort It Out Tour caught the group at full velocity: Topper Headon's drumming locked in, Mick Jones's guitar work flowering, and the live show that would carry them out of punk and into something larger taking shape night after night.
