2008 Kimi Räikkönen Race-Worn Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Suit

Worn by Kimi Räikkönen as reigning World Champion during the 2008 Formula 1 season, the present suit carries the World Championship patch awarded for his 2007 title with Scuderia Ferrari. It was race used from the German Grand Prix in July through the end of the season. One of the first suits made for Räikkönen by Alpinestars, it was produced in fire-resistant Nomex and carries the Puma branding of the 2008 season.

Räikkönen had won the 2007 World Drivers' Championship with Ferrari, and he remains the most recent driver to claim the title for the team. Known throughout the paddock as "The Iceman," he won in Malaysia and Spain in 2008 and finished third in the championship. Over his career he recorded 21 Grand Prix victories and 103 podium finishes, and he remains the only driver to have won races in the V10, V8 and V6 turbo-hybrid eras.
