2005 Michael Schumacher Signed RF1 Replica Scuderia Ferrari Helmet

Signed by seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher and dated 2005, the present Schuberth RF1 full-scale replica helmet was painted by Jens Munser of Jens Munser Designs (JMD). It is one of only five examples produced in this specific design, part of a broader series limited to just fifty helmets worldwide, and retains its Marlboro sponsorship livery.

Schumacher retired with ninety-one Grand Prix victories, seven World Drivers’ Championships, sixty-eight pole positions, and seventy-seven fastest laps, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history. The 2005 season marked the penultimate year of his first tenure with Scuderia Ferrari, and material bearing original sponsorship livery from this period is particularly sought after.

The present helmet forms part of a rare series of high-quality Schuberth replicas commissioned by Schumacher himself, encompassing approximately ten designs from across his career. No more than five examples of any single design—and no more than fifty in total—were produced worldwide. Each helmet was constructed to full race specification, including a genuine race visor, correct HANS clips, Kevlar helmet straps, and even the accurate race weight, and was painted by Schumacher’s own helmet painter, Jens Munser, with all correct logos and Marlboro sponsor detailing. The helmet is personally autographed by Schumacher and is accompanied by a matching numbered Certificate of Authenticity from Jens Munser Designs.
