Born in 1975, Sarah Andelman is the co-founder of the Parisian concept store Colette, established in 1997 with her mother. For twenty years, Colette defined the cutting edge of fashion, art, design, and culture, becoming one of the most influential retail destinations in the world before its closure in 2017.
In the years that followed, Andelman launched Just An Idea, a platform devoted to consulting, curating, publishing, and creative collaborations across industries. Continuing the spirit of innovation and discovery that marked her tenure at Colette, she remains a singular voice in contemporary culture.
The tattoo presented here, reading “JUST A TATTOO,” serves as a witty and self-aware nod to her brand Just An Idea—an emblem of the playful conceptual clarity that has long defined her approach.
