On June 13, 1997, Michael Jordan sealed the fifth Bulls championship with a 39-point performance against the Utah Jazz in Game 6 — the closing chapter of a Finals series that had already produced the "Flu Game" in Utah four nights earlier, one of the most-photographed and endlessly-mythologized single-game efforts of Jordan's career. Within hours of the trophy presentation, licensed championship merchandise was in stores nationwide, printed and warehoused in advance. Starter produced some of the most heavily-collected pieces from that specific window. The graphic pulls the full five-championship arc into a single composition — a photographic composite of the 1997 roster laid into a red-bordered circular field with the years 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, and 1997 wrapping around the top and the NBA Finals 1997 seal set into the composition.
