A mash-up of Japanese hype and American comic book heroes, the A Bathing Ape x DC Comics collaboration fused NIGO's BAPE designs with Batman's caped crusade. This version of the Bapesta series was part of the Summer 2007 capsule collection with DC Comics and was one of four superheroes shows released in collector's action figure packaging. Mirroring Batman's cape and utility belt, the black/gray/bright yellow color palette paints the patent leather upper and BAPE's star-emblazoned sidewalls alongside the iconic bat-symbol etched on the heel and tongue.

From the Pedro "Busy P" Winter's personal collection, these Bapestas hold a legendary status in the BAPE design archives. Ae the founder of Ed Banger Records and manager of Daft Punk, these shoes come from one of the pioneers of Parisian French electronic music.

Net proceeds from the sales of Pedro's collection benefit Secours Populaire Français.
