The final chapter in SOULGOODS’ acclaimed Nike Dunk trilogy, the “2000s” Dunk High channels the bold energy of Beijing’s creative underground at the turn of the millennium. Released in late 2022, this limited-edition colorway reflects a pivotal era of youth culture, where street art, tattoos, and DIY flyers fueled a new artistic identity in China’s capital.
The upper pairs a striking mix of navy and pink tones with layered graphic prints, capturing the chaotic beauty of early-2000s design. Signature SOULGOODS slogans like “Never Change” and “Always Change” are worked into the details, reinforcing the decade’s theme of transformation and self-expression. From the collection of Sarah Andelman, a friend of SOULGOODS’ creative director Yué Wu, this pair embodies both her personal connections within the global creative community and her eye for culturally significant collaborations.
